Sorry to have to say this but if you have experienced Yellowstone in the US, you can skip Rotorua, in NZ!!
The thermals, geysers (old faithful etc) are larger and better. Champange pool here was not bad but overall, for the price I would rate it as average. If you have ppl with you who have not seen these types of thermal activity before then it is a decent place to go.

Joint #1 activity for my NZ trip.
And at one point I almost decided to skip it due to bad weather. Good thing I came back the next day. Witty and cool instructors make the experiance even more fun. Fantastic sceanic backdrop. Definately a top10 thing to do before you die!!!!

Joint #1 Highlight of my whole NZ trip.
$$$ but well worth it. The whole flight + the ski landing is a once in a lifetime experiance and I would recommened it to all. Not to be missed.

Got a Jucy Chaser from Christchurch.
Other than the DVD player that was not avaliable, all other things were fine. Helpfull staff. Van worked fine and we had a good experiance in it. Would recommend it too anyone who has not done any camper living in NZ. Would ask Jucy to lockdown their microwaves better as ours was disloged a few times during the trip!!

Took me 4hrs to get a car in Auckland.
As such wasted the day of site seeing that I had planned. However car worked fine with no issues at all.
Took me 5 min to get the car in Queenstown Airport and no problems at all encountered, but the Auckland experiance still in the back on my mind!!!
