Very good setup, everything sorted for you, adventurous heli-flight, great runs to suit our abililty, untracked powder and huge buffet lunch.
Were given the option of adding more runs at the end of the day.

Luging rocks!
Screaming (or going slow if you're chicken) down a concrete racetrack on a little plastic cart. 3 tracks of different grades. Ques can get long in the school holidays. Go with some mates to race. Check beforehand that your travel and medical insurance are paid (even Ayrton Senna made a mistake once).

Lots of people, yeah, 'cause words out that this is a quality tour.
Don't want to spoil any surprises, but this tour has a few small touches that others don't. My tips of the day; Arrive hungry, Have a song from your home country ready to sing (just in case).

Getting swept downstream by about a million gallons of ice-water a second, sucked under like someone stole your lifejacket and put thier foot on your head.
Quite exciting really. Good gear provided so you stay alive. Go prepared to do some serious swimming and you can catch some standing waves.

I reckon this is the best value activity in queenstown, go up in a Bi-plane, a senic flight to start then have a stunt pilot see how much you can handle!
Great wing photos. My tip of the day: Don't got out on the town 'til 6 in the morning before you do this.

Took our own car and met up north. Just really good all round. Great guide and group dynamics, Awesome accommodation. Everyone made huge progress in their surfing and the guide doubled as photographer.

Did the heli-hike with a group of mates.
Pilot didn't introduce himself, just pushed an Offspring tape in to the stereo and give us the flight of a lifetime. (He was trying to scare us, but I was holding on tight with my arse-cheeks).
Oh, the glacier was neat to.

Small plane, seems like ages getting up to altitude, got a wicked view of the Southern Alps on the way up, going round and round over the glaciers!
Didn't want to come down, but it was exciting.

Did the half day option, the staff start you on the easier obsticales and the slowly get harder as your confidence builds.
A great place to go with friends, or to make them. the swing is seriously scary!

Two big pools, one hotter than the other, they always seem to be the right temperature. I lived in Taupo and went about once a week.

Good trip.
Spent 2 days doing it (could have spent longer), this broke up the sitting on bus a bit. Sandboarding was a laugh, and we collected shellfish for the bbq when we got back.

Watched a few dolphins from a distance, as they were feeding we couldn't swim with them, then tried looking for whales instead.
Saw a couple of spouts, but ran out of time to get close. At least the staff put in some effort to make our day interesting when we couldn't swim.

Sitting in the cable-car waiting to jump.
You want to know the feeling of being able to take on the world? Sitting in the harness on the way back up. Absolutely unreal. Never thought I'd do it, but once I'd reached the edge there was no point delaying it! Still makes my pulse race just watching the video.
