Quite a good look at how the early settlers lived.
Gold panning and being able to keep a flake of gold in a little vial was a big hit in our family. Not a great attraction to take kids under 8 to as there is a lot of reading on information cards to do and they soon lose interest. The whole town is a museum really.

Fantastic variety offered for a family for the whole day from 10.00am until 5.00pm.
Wonderful close up encounters with a huge cross section of wild life from sheep to white rhino. Our children range in age from 20 months to 14 years and they all loved it! Childrens playground, cafe and picnic areas make this park highly attractive to any family. Friendly, helpful staff and in depth commentary at feeding times plus information on each animal exhibit. Easy to follow map and feeding time guide made it a very stress free day. Feeding the giraffes is not to be missed, we were able to feed and pat them, totally amazing creatures. You are able to hire 3 wheel buggies for the day for little ones as some areas are a little rough.
