Great Little Park, set beside a stream with easy walks.
Can walk into town, but not too close. Great amenities for our young family. Fully equipped Kitchen. Indoor & outdoor play areas. Modern & Clean Bathrooms.
Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for rating us so highly. It sounds like you had a great stay and made the most of our family friendly park. We hope you were able to see the glow worms and enjoy the surrounding bush walks. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.

We were travelling with 3 children in camper van, so the amazing vintage playground next door was a bonus.
Nice location being opposite harbour, close to shops. Considering we were charged for our young kids, we are disappointed there was no facility to wash them, not even a laundry tub. unisex bathroom very basic. My hairdryer wouldn't work in bathroom but would in Kitchen/Lounge area. Hotplates need replacing in LH Kitchen.

Great Park in a beautiful town.
Staff very friendly. Modern facilities. Free Showers. Only negative we had, is there is no place for kids to hang out in rainy weather. No lounge area etc. Would still highly recommend as a base to all activities in Queenstown area.

Our most expensive stay in NZ.
$72 pwr site / one night. Due to rain -kids playground was out. A tub of old toys in the lounge area would be useful in bad weather for young kids. Big puddles surrounding amenities. 6min showers (it took 3min for hot water to come through) Does have kids bath. Modern Kitchen, nothing supplied though.

What a little Gem!!!
As mentioned, access around the park is tighter than normal but the site itself was sufficient for our 7mtr Campervan. The little playground, TV room & Bathtub was great for our young kids. Main amenities are spotlessly clean, showers are a tad small but there is a 2nd amenity block tucked away in the back corner of the park with larger showers. Good value for location. Free WiFi voucher.
Thanks for the Feedback Auscampa.

Very helpful and friendly staff / manager.
The BBQ & playground advertised were not operational or safe. Basic and old bathroom amenities, but very clean. Large camp kitchen. Lots of room, open sites.

$5 to walk across bridge, $30 to come back via flying fox.
Unfortunately the other side seems neglected. Not much to see. (We thought if you pay $30 for flying fox your $5 bridge cross should be included - not additional)

Free DOCS campsite.
As you would expect, pit toilet with strong chemical smell. Great little walk to lookout above campsite, looking east and down coast. Close to train line.

Beautiful little park.
Nice setting. Farm Animals. Ducks welcomed us at our campervan door. Only down fall was males & females had to share toilets and showers.
Thanks for the lovely review. We do use the bathrooms with the gas in Winter for a couple of months as Unisex to save on power charges, but ten months of the year it is two very separate bathrooms for male and female
