Two of us rented the Escape 4 for 6 days of adventure across New Zealand's South Island.
The amazing Wilderness staff (Claudia is fantastic!) and vehicle made for a safe, comfortable, fun, and worry-free trip. And we received incredible value for the price. We had experience renting from a different company, and are hardcore travel researchers, which makes both of us confident in saying that Wilderness is the best transportation rental experience in New Zealand (and beyond!).

Watson's Way is one of those places that you selfishly almost don't want to share with everyone, in case you want to go back and you can't get a booking.
The property owners are so friendly and helpful, and they maintain a gorgeous property, with fruit trees, a hammock, wrap-around deck on the main building, tennis courts, bocce ball, a great kitchen, and laundry facilities. We rented bikes to explore some of the many nearby vineyards, and pie and coffee shops. This place is a gem.
