Easy track with nice swing bridges along a crystal clear river and in a tropical forest to end up on the Hidden Falls (3 or 4 hours return).

Amazing experience with very few tourists (not mentioned in travel guide) to spend hours with dolphins (Hector Dolphins), that come and play in the waves at the bay with you.
South Island ▷ Mount Cook - MacKenzie ▷ Mount Cook ▷

Very steep/more than 1810 steps + 1000m of elevation in total.
But amazing view of the Mount Cook, the valley and the glacier - worth the effort.

Fun 1/2 day (5 hours) of mountain biking from Queenstown towards Glenorchy.
But the advised track was quite engaged and they should have asked about the levels first. $118 for two.

Good vans.
Handy. Cheap $1310 for one month, But poor pickup staff, unfriendly (Christchurch). Also you can feel the van is a bit old and it consumes a lot.

Worth the pay $15PP to stay in this big and very well maintained DOC camp with very good facilities, along the amazing beaches of Abel Tasman National Park.

On the way to the Hidden Falls walk.
Fun (with jokes all around camp) and beautiful campsite with a large lounge room and kitchen and fireplace. $24 for 2.

Was fun to see how those boats can go so fast on so shallow waters.
Beautiful landscapes and water. Could have been a bit more crazy for the price ($109PP for a one hour trip).

We found this big camp place by the beautiful lakes of Pukaki (turquoise water and not so cold).
Locals said we were okay to stay for free.
