The campervan was definitely at 'budget' level.
Some maintenance was required. Gas cylinder was not full initially but company agreed to compensate for cost to us of filling. Free shuttle bus from Christchurch airport.

Great commentary of local history and wildlife.
Loved 'murph' the dog who can hear the dolphins coming before we saw them. Complimentary drink and homemade biscuit. Very friendly crew.

Well maintained track.
Twenty minute walk past the Pancake Rocks and Blowholes, Suggest to go there at high tide so get full impact of blowholes.

Beautiful view of Akaroa and the harbour.
Walking track to the town (steep upon return). Nice and clean facilities. Had to pay $1.00 for BBQs (paid site).

Well maintained track that takes you above the fur seal colony (saw quite a few seals) and along the path overlooking the sea - great views,

Would not bother going again.
Site quite old and not well kept. Showers cost $1.00 for six minutes of water (although good shower once paid for!). However, Lake Brunner is beautiful in the morning - lovely view made up for the poor campsite (paid site).
