Very special place, there are about 80 wallaby and you have full access to them to observe, pet and feed.
There are some babies too, very good experience.

Good facilities, ran by a man called Grumpy.
Price is fair. Is close to main road, some car noise. Otherwise clean and as advertised.

Expensive, helicopter ride is brief, equipment is dated and smelled (boots provided no support, pants and jacket smelled like BO or mildew).
The weather decides if you will go or not, the heavy rains delayed us two days. Your tour will be most affected by who is in your groups, so less fit people who can not keep up or Asians who stop every 30 seconds for a picture will keep you from seeing more of the glacier.

Had reserved a spot, and the one they had for us was impossible to get to with our camper van, as are many of the spots here.
They put us in "overflow" area with no power like we had reserved. They were rude and slow to resolve our problem; they offered no compensation for their inability to control their holiday park. I advise staying anywhere but here.
We appreciate all reviews and comments and although we cannot answer every one we do take notice and do our best to rectify. On this occasion it is my understanding the booking was made online for a tent site on Easter Sat, and it was only discovered on arrival that it was for a camper van that was too big for the site you had booked, leaving us no option other than using our overflow site. This highlights the problem with guests booking directly online, since if they do we are not given the opportunity to ask the size of their van and allocate an appropriate sized site. Normally this is not an issue as there would be other more suitable sites we could offer on arrival, but on this occasion, being Easter, we were already full and there were no suitable powered sites left. It is always difficult to find an alternative site when full, but we do apologize for the time it took to resolve the issue, and appreciate that you were able to stay for three nights. To avoid this problem we have looked at ways to allow persons booking on line to choose sites that are suitable for the size of their vans, but that still relies on them knowing what size van the hire company may supply before booking a site, consequently it would seem safer to contact the park to avoid this happening.
Yours,
Richard
