The kayak tour was quite cheap ($40 for three hours).
The staff was friendly and polite. We were late but they offered us a special price 9$40 instead of $59). The landscape was amazing!

Amazing views not only in the forest but also on the outer side. You are walking very close to the mountains - great feeling!!

Not only great views, but also informative (Maori Culture).
If you are lucky you will see the Pacific Ocean and the Tasman Sea floating into each other.

On the one hand it is fun to dig a hole in the sand and sitting in warm water on the other hand there are way too many tourists.

Not far way from Nelson town centre, $6 per person per day.
Showers, good toilets (clean) small kitchen and a nice river where you can swim in. Mixed nationalities :-)

In the middle of the National Park!
Not many facilities provided (only one toilet). One of the greatest views we have ever had in New Zealand! Campground is surrounded by huge mountains and a beautiful (cold) river. Nights with frost and the way to the camping ground is really hilly and long; unpaid :-)

Nice location and located next to an awesome river.
Lots of toilets (not the best though). Not far away from Lake Taupo, Huka Falls and the town centre.
