The exhibits are very well done and all of the Maori exhibits are amazing. Plan to spend most of your day here. Free WIFI too.

The ladies were the most helpful and nicest we have encountered so far.
For a dollar or two, you can charge your phone, ipad, anything behind the counter. The library behind has free all day parking and fast free WIFI.

Great tramping for an afternoon or a few days.
Beautiful beaches along the way for lunch and swimming. Sea kayaking the route if you have experience is deifintiely recommended.
