It is a nice trip if you enjoy sailing.
If you are willing and competent you can help the skipper. You can make a short walk to a viewpoint on a hilltopm go snorkelling or go sea kayaking.

Voyager.
The van is okay for two people. It is absolutely not comfortable for four. The stove does not work properly, household things are of low quality, break easily, essential household things are missing (coffee plunger, electric kettle).

We were very sorry to learn of the issues that you had with the stove and hope that you did receive help for this while on your journey. Unfortunately, electric kettles and coffee plungers are not part of our Britz Campervan kitchen equipment, however should you request either of these are branch staff are happy to assist if they can.

It is a great day trip.
You can see a lot on your way to Cape Reinga, like Rarawa Beach and Tapotupotu Bay. You can toboggan down a sand sune and the coach driver gives you a lot of interesting information. We loved it.
