I would challenge the designer of the premier 4 berth to make 2 singles or a double bed that two people can fit on.
Bed cushions overhang the bed boards and one is short to allow toilet door to open. Also wardrobe shortens bed so it is not long enough for an adult at that side. Service on collection was good, but - no awing - original van ordered had an awning - substitute umbrella was incomplete and impossible to use - a very poor substitute indeed.
Having now spent over 4 weeks in this campervan - sleeping diagonally across the bed is no fun - the alternative is to have my feet overhanging the end of the cushions. I only have to survive another 10 nights before I can look forward to a 'proper bed'.
Update -- after several emails and sending photographs Maui seem to think that a $290 discount is compensation for 6 weeks of discomfort due to the terrible bed design - I do not . Once you have left the country they can fob you off with anything as you cannot complain in person - the supervisor in Auckland did her job well by sending me away with an email address rather than settling the complaint at the time - it was too near home time.
NZ was a great holiday - but Maui have no sense of customer relations or customer satisfaction.

Worst site in New Zealand in 6 weeks of traveling.
How it got good reviews I don't know. Roads full of potholes raggy pitches facilities in need of demolishing. Glad it is our last site and not our first in NZ it would have been a terrible start to a great holiday.

Very efficient operation.
Good provisions for disabled passengers to get easy access from car deck. Booked Kiataki lounge for journey - very comfortable and helpful staff. The sandwiches put out at boarding had all gone when we reached the lounge and there were only around 8 people in by then. Selection of drinks very good - staff even went to fetch some for me which they didn't have to hand. Hot scones were very nice. On landing in Wellington it was guesswork as to where we were heading due to poor signage. Overall enjoyed the voyage and the scenery.

Clean facilities with everything you would need - great swimming pool and hot pool.
Not sure I would like to be there when it is busy - a very big site. Timed showers again, but seems to be long enough for a good shower without rushing.

Good site with good clean facilities.
Looks a bit like a car park in parts, but sites are more than adequate. Very nice swimming pool and sunbathing area. Why do al these sites have dump stations with a raised lip - they should be below ground level to make dumping easy. The best are at creekside Queenstown - a grating flush to the road - no need for any hose - dump is done much quicker without any problems.

Site fine - facilities good - very dry and dusty.
Signage at entrance could be better for reception. Spa not working - staff did not know - I went with key to find it dry. This is second site with spa out of order - very disappointing.

My wife loved the pools even though it was a Saturday and very busy it did not seem crowded.
The food from the cafe was good and reasonable priced with good service.
I did not go in to the pools, but wish I had. A very enjoyable day.

Great location - good site - spa great.
Only gripe that makes it 9 instead of 10 is the fact that the showers are timed to 6 mins - if it is really necessary to set a time limit at least make it 10 mins so that you can have comfortable shower.
Liked the town and the bay very much. Visited both seal colonies - Ohau point was by far the best with lots of seals and cubs playing in the rock pools.
Hi Michael, Thank you for your feedback and comments on the shower time limit. The time limit is part of our environmental strategy in an aim to make sure a shower isnt left on for example overnight running hot water but I see what you're getting at and increasing the time limit is definitely something we could look into. Called again the next day - even better a school of dolphins were swimming offshore - as well as all the seals being there again.

Nice site very busy when we arrived on Friday - did not like our first pitch, but were able to move to a better one.
Our pitch is level - not like some of the others. All pitches are a little on the small side. Facilities are generally good - not the most modern, but at least the showers work and are controllable. The hot plates in the small kitchen aren't - they don't get hot.
Even though the site was full of children and week enders it was fine - it was nice to see the children enjoying themselves. Also one washer doesn't spin - the clothes remain wet. My wife fell over the 'step' where a machine has been removed - rather danderous.

What an experience - would recommend it to anyone - go on an afternoon cruise - we went at 3.00pm - much quieter and the boat was very comfortable and probably only a third full.

Site is good and a great location - pity about the showers - in one block no control scalding hot - in another block gets hotter if left you need to turn it down than back up to avoid being frozen or
scalded. The facilities are generally very tired and in need of a good update. Compared to the other top 10 sites we have stayed on facilities do not compare.

A great site - good pitches - clean facilities and everything you need .
The only thing I would comment on - Kitchen could do with an overhaul of the cookers, but this is a minor point. Enjoying our stay here. Free Internet great during the day, but too popular at night becomes very slow.
Revised my rating to 10 on learning that a new kitchen is planned for April.
