Very friendly campsite with good facilities and a great pool.
Two play areas for the children. Just a short walk from Motueka. We planned to stay for two nights, but in the end we spend four days here. Wonderful with a coffee cart in the mornings and awsome pizza at night. Would enjoy to visit again.

One of the very best NZ campsites we have visited!
The athmosphere there is great! We parked our campervan in the best spot, with shady trees and beautiful views. And the glow worms are fantastic. The owners are super friendly. Only downside is that the WiFi is expensive (can't understand why it is rarely free in the campsites we visit).

Lovely place!
Very relaxing with a fantastic beachfront location. There's a playground for the youngest children and kayaks for hire. The atmosphere is great and the owners and staff very friendly. There is lots to do in the area. You pay 0.5$ per shower.

A really good experience as a family!
We had clear visiability in the water and a very enthustiastic guide and skipper. It was very educational and we saw a lot of different fish. Don't expect it to be colourful - though. The fish are all kind of brownish.

Had a good time with two kids here.
A tank of real coral was an unexpected treat as was the blue penguins.

It is too expensive for what you get.
But still we did have a good time...

Exceptional views of the Tongariro National Park and very friendly staff.
The kitchen is small. There is no playground and no dump station.

A great experience - also try the Rock Forest route to the caves.
You'll need torches and good shoes.

Great location right on the harbour.
It is a carpark next to a busy road, but the facilities are clean, the staff is friendly, and you can't beat the location.

Fantastik!
My boys (4 and 6 years old) also enjoyed it a lot. Could easily spend a couple of days there.

A small campsite and backpackers place.
The facilities are excellent maintained and the kitchen has everything you need. There is a herb garden and a large collection of books to exchange. There is a small pool (1.2 m deep) and a spa. The owners are super friendly. They gave us a tour of the site before we checked in. No dump station.

Very nice campsite with lots of trees.
Very close to the town and the spa. Clean facilities and a big TV room. Very friendly staff, that were helpful in suggesting child-appropriate hiking near by.
Would like to visit again!

Beautiful campsite with all new and clean facilities.
But way too crowded, considering the cost! It felt like a truck-parking lot at night. But it is in the town, staff is friendly and you also get 200 MB free WiFi.

Definently the best campsite we have visited so far!
Super friendly hosts and a great athmosphere. Our boys loved the horse and ponys and hunting for eel in the little creek. It is a good place for venturing in to the Catlins. Which is not as primitive as the guidebook lets on. Owaka is nearby with a store and two cafes (would recommend Catlin cafe).
it was great meeting you glad you enjoyed your stay would be great to see you again have a great holiday

It is a large campsite, but wonderfully located.
It is close to the Otago peninsula and the bus right outside will take you to the Dunedin Octagon in 15 minutes. It is also close to the beach. And we enjoyed all the paintings, eg. the Hogwarts train in one of the kitchens. Free WiFi and friendly staff!
Thank you for leaving such nice comments, Lis Bon. We are glad that you have enjoyed your stay with us.

We had a great day.
Would have been nice, if they had told us upon entry that it was extra for the water slides. The showers were not great, but the thermal pools and the childerens area was outstanding. Would love to visit again!

Wonderful pool area, with two hot tups.
All new facilities, but limited kitchen space. Amazing view of mountains from the tent site. Conviniently close to town and stores. Why not free WIFI??
Went there for the whale watching in Kaikoura, which was cancelled two days in a row due to bad weather, but we enjoyed the seals instead. Had a good meal at the Hisclop Cafe close by.

A good experience.
Nice arts and crafts to be found there, and some great quirky details. We also really enjoyed the playground nearby - which was really good for older children.

Close to the town and right next to a wonderful botanical garden and a large playground.
There is a good cafe on the same steet as the campsite (Chelmer St 1).
The showers nearest to the office are larger and much nicer than the ones closest to the tent/powered sites. Expect some noise from the railway!

Nice and clean facilities and very friendly staff.
Internet is expensive. Stores and buses are far away, but you can buy essentials from the office. The campsite is easy to find from airport or SH1.
Hi Lis - thank you for your feedback. We now have a brand new petrol station and burgerking right out the front our park so perfect for guests. We are also looking at free WIFI designated to a specific area for all guests and hoping to be up and running by 2017.
