This is a great place to stay.

I had a self contained unit as well as a powered site. The facilities are kept clean and so are the grounds. Security is excellent. All the staff I have had contact with have been very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay when in Gisborne.

Clean and very tidy holiday park with loads of different accommodation options (I had a self contained unit).

Probably wouldn't stay here again if I had the choice.

Great location but not well kept and can be quite noisy. Place needs a revamp or a bit of a tidy up. My stay was a last minute thing, so didn't have time to check it out first.

Large, peaceful environment.

Unit was clean, tidy and comfortable. Really friendly and helpful hosts where nothing was any trouble. They were even brilliant when there was a late change. Would definitely come back.

I stayed in a self contained unit.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. My unit was very clean and very comfortable and it had everything I needed, right down to the coffee, tea etc. Grounds are fantastic. I will certainly be back. 10/10

I stayed here during business over Queens Birthday weekend and had a kitchen unit.

The place is very quiet and peaceful and had everything I needed. Amenities and rooms were very clean and tidy (I wish more places were like this). Management were very friendly and extremley helpful. Nothing was any trouble, even when I changed plans at the last minute and rooms had to be changed to fit around-thanks so much for that. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed. I will certainly be back. 10/10.

I had a self contain unit.

The unit was very clean and had everything I needed. Lovely tidy and well set out grounds, and very friendly hosts. Although I didn't have any kids with me, this would be a great place for the kids as there is plenty of safe space for them to run around. Thanks to Kelvin and Billie for having such a lovely park. The only downside would be if you are a smoker as they prefer smoking only within a particular area rather than outside your unit (however from a family (with kids) holiday point of view, I can also totally understand this). If you do stay here, you wont be disappointed. The trains never bothered me at all.

I wish I could give them a rating of more than 10.

This is very clean, very tidy and Dennis and Margaret are great camp owners who are very hands on. It just has that WOW factor. Surpasses my every expectation. You just can't go wrong by staying here (even music in the toilet/shower blocks). I cannot recommend this enough. I just wish many others were up to this standard. Thanks Dennis and Margaret.

Very friendly hosts.

Very clean and tidy. I stayed in one of their cabins which had a kitchenette in it. A very clean and tidy cabin. One of the best places I have been to on my travels and would definately come back again when in Akl. Many thanks to the owners/staff for providing a quality place to stay.

I had a kitchen cabin and it had everything I needed.

Bathrooms were clean and kitchen clean and tidy. Grounds were being mowed while I arrived/nice and tidy setting. No complaints in relation to the amenities from me.
