We have seen all the birds except Kokake.
The weather was nice. The hiking route was good also for less experienced persons. Nice people, good charity, for nature lovers.

Behind the scene movie was great and fun to see even for no movie freaks.
The selling props are also wonderful to see. Is a bit small.

This place was great next to the park.
You can walk right in the park where the kiwi are. Warm showers and kitchen. Not a lot of places, so you need to come early.

The colours of the lake are beautiful and unique.
The gasses are quite warm and it really smells a lot, but it is worth it to visit it.

We walked 1.5 hours track, total 3.
Nice track, great views, the cove and beach are really worth seeing. Scene from Narnia was made there. Good for photos.

She helped us great with the bookings for the ferry.
But we had parked our camper there and asked inside if it was parked well and she said yes. The we did get a fine (ticket). We made a picture but what can we do as tourists. Is unfriendly for campervans.

We asked a lot about Coromandel and she helped us a lot.
Also advised about the camping and pricing. Most i-sites we went were really friendly and helped us great and they were easy to find.

This is a very nice camping with hot mineral tubs.
The pools (tubs) are free. It wasn't loaded with people when we were there. You can walk to the Hot Water Beach. They have heated tent sites!! LOL. The owners are very polite and helpfull. We booked the Maori show in combination with National Spring Park there. The bus picks you up at the camping, but you can walk too, it's only 5 min. But the bus that picks you up is free so..There's a hot mud pool there (you cannot touch, you'll burn), but there are fences around. And alot of Pukeko's. They're so cute!

It was serviced well.
The Maori show was nice to experience and the food: traditional 'hangi' was absolutely delicious! We did the combo with Rainbow Springs park, because we wanted to see the kiwi. We saw 4 kiwi's from close up and the Tuatara. This was very special and fun.

Beautiful view over the ocean, Auckland bay area.
Public toilets, no showers, great weather but cold at night though. Next to the boat to Tiritiri Matangi Island, where you can see special birds. We saw alot of them there. Like the Kaka, red crowned parakeet, north island Robin, Sadelback etc. etc.

Before we booked we asked about the walkinghours.
The woman informed us incorrect. We thought we had more hours to walk, sit, picnic etc, but instead we had too hurry so much it wasn't fun at all anymore. It was hightide and we had to take the long route instead of the shorter one. So we couldn't sit, relax, enjoy the view, picnic nothing of that kind. Also the hike was long and some parts steep eventhough she said it wasn't so.
We did the Discoverer Day and found it not worth the money. We did see a seal swimming next to the boat four a couple of seconds though. We were with four people, all of us enjoy hiking, but not this day.
