What a wonderful experience!

Kapiti Island is a special treasure and to stay overnight there is a real treat. The team of John, Amo and Vicki were so friendly and welcoming. The cabin was basic, (as advertised) but clean and warm. The food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. The highlight for us was walking up the private valley which is only an option when staying overnight. We saw ruru, tieke, bellbirds and tui, the birdsong was loud and beautiful - it was quite magical.
