We just loved this place.
Very pretty park with a lot of options for camping spots. For $5 per person per night thought it was good value. There are toilets and BBQs. In the evening the rangers come around and collect rubbish and recycling. The gates are locked at night, which feels safe. The river is clean and we found a great swimming hole. Definitely want to return.

Stayed here for a night a couple of weeks ago.
It's a very pretty spot, the drive in and the beach are lovely. A quiet campground with a grassed area for campers on beach front. Mainly permanent cabins, all well kept. Bathrooms are good, showers operate by tokens, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Kitchen is well equipped. Public recycling station next door. Enjoyed our night there and could have stayed longer.

We decided to stay here because I had been there a long time ago and remembered the camp being in a pretty spot by the river and clean and well looked after.
I was so disappointed with what we found a few days ago and moved onto another campsite.
It is a little untidy and some of the grass hadn't been mowed in a while, but what truly horrified me was the 8-9 old buses that people are permanently living in. They are absolute eyesores, dilapadated, rusty with loads of rubbish lying around them. The word feral comes to mind.
When I stay in a campground I don't want to look out my window at these shambolic messes, and I don't want to feel ill at ease, it just felt creepy.
The owners have let a lovely spot go to ruin, what a shame.
