Was expensive, but was not an option to not see it.
Boat was clean, guides were very helpful. I took my 8 year old son with me and he was treated as a true nature lover and not an annoying kid. We happened to get one of the best days weather wise, plenty of waterfalls, but lots of sun - didn't need our raincoats at all (but do pack them just in case!) hint: the bakery and other shops open early in TeAnau - ask them to make you a packed lunch the day before and pick it up before the tour leaves. Thank you Real Journeys - Jen and Jack

Loved it!
Older, but upgraded facilities. Endless hot water and extremely clean bathrooms. Easy drive thru sites. Hosts were lovely. Pointed out local sites on a map, but added all the free things to do (very helpful at the end of the holiday and an 8yr old) gorgeous town. Ducks with ducklings walking between the vans. Not much play equipment, but fantastic park about 200 metres away. Would stay here again.

Brilliant!!
A few rides for me and lots of rides for my son. Luge runs are long enough to be value for money. Chairlift ride excellent and we were lucky and it snowed for us up at the luge.

Yes there was a cost involved and you can see them for free elsewhere - however we went on a lovely night, no wind and fellow tourists were all lovely.
My son got to chat with guide al lot and helped spot the rafts of penguins coming in. For those in Australia - think Philip island on a much much smaller scale.

We arrived late in the day so just paid the $5 entry fee into the centre.
Well worth it - got to go outside to the eating area, and could see the albatross fling around the top of the hill. Didn't get to see them up close, but for $5, it made my sons day. Upon closing, they sell off the sandwiches and muffins cheaply. We took ours out to the camper and sat in the car park watching the albatross fly above us. Well worth the trip - allow plenty of time to get there from Dunedin. Winding road, slow traffic.

Nice, lots of brochures - but not very helpful staff.
They seemed more interested in selling me tours rather than showing me where free wildlife experiences could be found. Spoke to fellow travelers and got better information

Excellent free experience!
However no signage on needing to be moderately to very fit for the walk back. We made it down the dune easily and saw hooker sea lions basking on the beach. Very close viewing. An amazing experience. Hint: try to not bulk up too much in clothing before going down. Just a windproof jacket should do. Not as cold down n the beach as it is up on the hill - and bulky clothing makes it very hard to get back up the hill!
