Great free spot.
Many campers in a small space, but it was not uncomfortable. Simple toilets and filtered rainwater. Beautiful beach. The narrow winding road to the campsite easy to drive with a small campervan.

Clean. I don't know if we had to pay extra for a shower - I think it was free on that day. Because a party it was very loud in the evening.

We arrived late and there was nobody.
Then someone came. We paid A$ 30 for a place with power for our campervan. It was very cold and snowing. The main building and the bathroom was not heated, but there was at least warm water. It was too cold in the bathroom to take a shower or to wash. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean, including the bathroom.

Small boat with few passengers in the afternoon. Fantastic ride with lots of great impressions. Penguins, seals, lobsters, waterfalls, Mitre Peak, ... A good value!

Plenty of space and new facilities. Unfortunately, the showers were not yet installed. A little expensive for DOC standards, but still comparatively cheap.
