We have rented a kayak for one and a half hours to kayak on Lake Wanaka, which was expensive (40 dollars for two people), and a nice thing to do on a sunny day.

After you have driven a 20km gravel road, the view of lake is magnificent.
Sandflies are terrible. Picnic tables available.

Touristy, but a must.
Cool experience, nice guides, good gear. Comes with hot pool access, which is very relaxing after the hard work. Bit expensive. Book in advance.

Willing to offer a discount and we have got a very new sleeper van.
Offers everything we need. Cupboards are not so well designed, you need to be bendy to access it. Friendly staff.

Comfortable, great views and scenery.
