this is the way to get a day to always remember.
we spent the day aboard and did the lot, upi the rigging , steering , sleeping , eating diving of swinging off ropes swimming to the island....okay i was knackered when i got there but i survived.... and just sailing ... it was really fantastic and we would head straight there again . please do it it is awesome.

great experience, we drive a westyvan in uk and having the oportunity to do the new zealand trip in one was so brilliant.2 months ,2 (well 3 if you include white island)islands and a great camper.
well maintained solid and reliable with freindly back up if ever needed... (only once to check tyre size after flat )...nothing else at all.
"kiwibod"took us up some tracks and over some hills with no problems...respect the age and they will take you there....safe and sound and stop for coffee where you like etc
would recommend these campers and these guys to all. not planning a return yet but the chance of doing it again in a camper would be major factor.
we found free camping fine and almost always no problem... did find the southland area of south island the hardest but may have been because the local ranger seemed to own a camp site???
fair do`s i suppose,
plenty of friendly faces and leave no rubbish!!!
helpful advice from bevan at the outset and bear in mind that new zealand is not only there in the summer!!! we went jan to march and it was brill but would go at different time next time `cos we just saw first snows and that would be awesome too. or even new zealand spring?
hope you use these guys and the vans and have a great trip ..
