Definitely recommend this trip on the water taxi out on Lake Tarawera.

Scenery is spectacular with the dormant volcano every present from out on this pristine lake, surrounded by bush. The fantastic soak in the hot pools was such an added bonus and, being off the beaten track, makes it so private and utterly relaxing. David the skipper is very knowledgeable about the area and has a mean sense of humour! It should be one to add to the "bucket" list!
