Friendly staff.
Within walking distance of town. Nothing notable about the town. It was the only campground we could find after touring the caitlins. Everything else was closed.

Great location in the center of wellington.
5 min from the ferry. They give you a code to use the toilets/showers. No big deal that it's a parking lot.

Free wi fi.
Nice bathrooms. Unfortunately you can't walk into town.
Campground is surrounded by mountains. Pretty!
Hi Megan- thanks for your response- we are only a 20 minute walk to town along the lake front but we do free drop offs too :)

Toilets and showers need some renovation.
Glenorchy is about 30 min outside of Queenstown. If you are there off season (as we were in May) be sure to check which restaurants are open. Beautiful mountain scenery.

Clean, fancy facilities.
Camp sites are close together. Within walking distance to town. Great kitchen and outdoor grill area. They even have a sitting room where you can watch tv.

They have only 6 powered sites so be sure to call to make a reservation.
Bathrooms were clean. No restaurants were within walking distance. Good lodge/campground to get an early tour boat on milford sound.

Beautiful setting.
Annoying that you have to pay for showers. I'm also annoyed that the women's bathroom light was on a timer and it went off before you finish your business.
Close to hiking trails. There is also a partially lit walking path to town.
A little overpriced but view was great!
