Not much of a campground, more of a carpark attached to the motel.
But the location is excellent for the ferry and there is also a regular bus which stops by the motel going to Wellington.

OK, with campervans you get what you pay for.
Britz are pretty much mid market so you get a full equipped, self contained and spacious campervan but it will be a few years old.

Delivering post to the locals. Full day of sailing 9.30 to 4.30pm. Morning spent delivering the post, afternoon the opportunity is provided to get off the boat and walk.

Waitomo - great value trips.
Take safety seriously but also ensure that you have fun. Groups are not too large and the free bagel and soup at the end of the caving are most welcome!

Only completed the last 12kms of the trail on a half day walk but the views across the bays were amazing.

This is an excellent days walk with truly spectacular scenery.
The only downside it it can be very busy, try setting off early. Go prepared for all weather!!
