Very beautiful small campground next to the beach.
The bay is nice for swimming. Amazing views, payment only cash or DOC pass.
Very basic facilities with sometimes smelly toilet and some wekas around.
Very recommended to come early and stay there!

Nice place next to the river, good for a quick dip.
Unfortunately a lot of sandflies and smelly toilet and noisy traffic on the road during night as well.

Huge campsite, right next to the beautiful beach.
Very quiet beginning of December, good and clean facilities with cold shower only. Be aware of the wekas (birds), there are many of them and they try to steal everything. Nice hiking nearby. Long and windy gravel road to get there but worth it.

Very quiet and nice campground with basic facilities.
It gets really busy, good before the crossing. Nice river next to the campsite.
