Weird place, seemed to be full (and I mean completely full - no room at the inn) of parked and unoccupied caravans.

Went to Lake McGregor campsite instead.

BTW, Google Lake Alexandrina camping and you get taken to a different location (southern end of lake). That one is equally odd ... numbered sites that are on too much of a slope to be much use for campervans, and deserted (when we called in) except for one van parked right in the middle on one of the few flat spots. We'd have had a fine view of the dunnies, so moved on.
