Nice/quality, too expensive, $28 powered site but kitchen and facilities not looked after, full of insects, moths.....
Expensive laundry. we have stayed at other campgrounds for a few dollars more with much better facilities.

The track in the Trounson Park is less known that the other tracks to the Kauri Trees but well worth it, beautiful kauri trees.
You can go at night and take a flash light you may see a kiwi!

Nice place to spend a rainy afternnon in Rotorua.
The security lockers did not work very well although we paid $5 for them, but the staff were very helpful.

If you want to go fishing, don't charter a boat on Lake Taupo (at less than $100 per hour), take a fishing tour in Picton or Kaikoura.
For the same price you can go on a 3 to 4 hour fishing tour with other people.
