Fantastic campsite, beautifully located with great views.
Many places to set up, where you can pick a single spot or share larger grass fields with others. Just beware the sandflies, there are a lot of them at this campsite

Stunning views and alright amenities at the campsite.
Just be sure you take care where you hole up for the night; there are deep and sludgy areas at the campsite where many people have gotten stuck (two on "out morning", and others the day before. So, a recommend, but careful where you place your car/rv

Very good place to stay for a night, has regular toilets!
It has its charm, but it is located near a road and can be quite busy. We stayed one night and it fitted our needs, the 10 dollar per person cost seems reasonable, also considering its less than 10 min drive to the Wanaka boulevard

Amazing campsite, camping right next to the sea.
Decent amenities, and can be quite windy. It's beautiful and was relatively quiet in mid-November, we recommend!

One of my favourite campsites of all time.
It is very small, sheltered and quiet, in a dale in between beautiful rocks and trees. Amenities are limited, but the serene location makes up for it. Some sections of the campsite might get a bit wet and muddy in rainy conditions, so keep an eye our for that so you don't get stuck.

Very nice campsite, next to the beautiful Pearson Lake.
We stayed one night and the campsite was good for this as a stay for our travel though the pass. We probably would not recommend it for longer, as it is next to the pass road which is quite busy, and the site has limited facilities (only toilet, and one non-drinkable water tap, no sink). Quite a lot of space mid-november, though I can imagine it fills up in summer during high season with travellers wanting to make a night stop.
