What a wonderful way to see the Marlborough Sounds.
We had discovered this trip whilst driving through Havelock and thought it would be a good way to see some of the more outlying parts of the Sounds.
We were not disappointed and fortunately we were blessed with a beautiful
Jim was great host and his brother was on hand to assist the day we sailed. He was able to provide a most informative commentary during the trip identifying the more interesting aspects that we visible from the boat as well as descriptions of the islolated homesteads who do not have traditional mail deliveries.
Complimentary tea and cofee is provided during the duratin of the trip and Jim brings round his tin of biscuits periodically.
The trip takes you out right to the Tasman Sea where you will see seals and if you are lucky blue penguins and dolphins. You will also have the opportunity of seeing up close the mussel beds in the Sounds.
This is a full day tour and extremely good value for money and we have no reservations in highly recommending this trip to future passengers

My wife and I hired a Transit 2 berth deluxe ST motorhome for a month in February picking it up in Christchurch (airport pickup handled very efficiently by Aereal) and dropping it off in Auckland.
We had a wonderful time and everything went according to plan. The motorhome was well equipped, easy to drive, particularly for the two of us who are used to driving automatics in the UK, and a very comfortable home from home. In fact we were quite sorry to leave it at the end of our stay and are now considering purchasing our own motorhome in the UK.
The booking process was efficient and Tony personally handled any queries we had inntheinterim in prompt and efficient manner.
Given the length of the rental it was agreed that we would pop in to see Tony in Nelson approximately half way through the hire so as to discuss any issues and to obtain a fresh linen pack.
At the drop off in Auckland we were met by Eddie at a pre-arranged spot and he drove us to our hotel, stopping en route at One Tree Hill to enable us to see a panoramic view of the city - a nice touch.
In addition Tony even included a satnav at no additional cost.
The van was very well equipped with everything we needed for the month although over such a long period it would have been useful to have had a conventional oven as we used the microwave only very occasionally.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this family firm to all future customers considering a motorhome holiday in New Zealand.
One word of advice for future customers - don't take too much luggage as space is limited within the motorhome. We took two big suitcases plus two smaller cases and ended up using only a fraction of the clothes we took with us despite the fact that we were on a two month round the world trip taking in other destinations (Singapore, Perth, Cook Islands and Los Angeles)
