Unhappy camper

Very crowded and disorganised site- hard to find a spot.
Not enough facilities - we weren’t able to use the kitchen at 5 or 7pm as they were both busy (both outside too so you get eaten alive by sandflies and mozzies).
Very expensive for what it was - we paid $36 for 1 night powered.
Toilets were dirty and sinks in areas stank and were full of stagnant water.
Sorry but would recommend the other campsites in town any day as you pay a little more but get HEAPS more in value.
This was overpriced for what it offers which, beyond the location, isn’t much.

On arrival, we were allocated a power space which was awful even though the whole camp was empty.
It was covered in the bushes and the only thing it did have a view of was a massive caravan full of screaming children. We moved to another empty space as it was so awful.
Toilets and showers were very clean and the site is large but we moved for our next 2 nights as it just wasn’t for us otherwise. It’s very expensive for its location and what you get.
We were also a bit annoyed as on arrival, the man in front is us asked for unpowered but was given powered for free as an upgrade whereas we had to pay for our powered site.
It’s not much more to stay in town at nicer more central campsites so would recommend that.
Also the FAQs on their website are super weird and rude frankly.

Great and clean toilets but too many huge RVs/caravans and buses who take up 2 spots….
Need to arrive before 5pm or don’t bother.

Very lovely site and reception staff gave us the warmest welcome.
Beware - the tour groups stay here and so there were so quite rowdy G Adventures Tweenies running around screaming in the area and hot tub.
The kitchen facilities were locked at 11.30pm which sucked as we couldn’t get any water….. not sure why and this was the first time we had experienced that and frankly, I don’t think it’s acceptable.
