Showers dated but good and hot. Bathrooms clean and big pitches with nice views.

Great DOC campsite, drop toilet and nice setting by the lake and dam.
Was a quiet night sleep with a handful of other campers, half full when we stayed in march. Super close to Taupo.

Good campsite with great shower and kitchen facilities.
Bit pricey at $60 a night for a powered campervan site but good base to then go to Hobbiton.
