Showers and toilets were antiquated and poor.
We arrived early afternoon with our campervan, selected a spot, then visited Mount Cook. Only on our return did we find that there is no dump station for campervans on the whole site. The nearest was at Mount Cook! Many thanks to the nice polite lady on Reception that didn't think it worth mentioning that we couldn't empty our tanks on site. This was the only site we found in 5 weeks holiday without this most basic of facilities. Very irritating!
Thank you for your review. I am very sorry you did not find the toilets and showers adequate. Updating our ablution block is top our to do list. We value our feedback from guests and respond accordingly. I am sorry your were not told that we don't have a dump station. I have spoken to our reception who are going to make sure they tell all our campervanners upon check in.

Brilliant, unbelievable facilities.
The best we experienced in our 5 weeks campervan holiday in NZ. The owner was extremely helpful. Great location for Arthur's Pass exploration. Highly recommended.

Kenrick, the owner, could not have been more helpful.
The initial orientation was very thorough. The van was immaculate, including kitchen equipment and was very well equipped, with unexpected extras such as DVDs, maps and guides.
The van performed well particularly when going up the steep passes of the South Island.
We were virgin 'campervaners' but soon adjusted as everything was to hand and the necessary limited storage spaces were well planned.
The delivery and collection of the van from our hotels made life much easier.
Thoroughly recommended!
