Sandflies en masse!
18$ per person plus 2$ for 4 minutes shower
But only at dusk and in the mornings, afternoons are ok.
2 minutes walk to the beach and you can hear the waves from the campsite. Great staff, small sink and BBQ area, communal area.
Spots are very sheltered, facilities are spotless!

Several toilets, flush and long drop, two sinks to do your dishes.
No drinking water! Toilets get cleaned every day. Unfortunately two of four sometimes have trouble flushing correctly :(
Many many spaces and on the other side of the road you have another campground, just have to drive 1km on gravel road.

Very close to the sea, so a bit windy.
Clean flush toilets, unfortunately, some people are too stupid to use them so they clogged up during the night -.-
Cold outdoor shower
Self contained only, somebody comes around to check
Locals don't adhere to the rules of the area, so you might get some that drive their vehicles on the beach. Otherwise it's really lovely! 40 minute walk to Greymouth centre

Sandflies!!!
Especially in the morning they went crazy 😟
Otherwise the spot is amazing! Very new and clean flush toilets. Space for 15-20 small vehicles, one big stayed too, but two can't pass each other.
Please! When you drip on the toilet seat clean up after yourself!

Close to the road, not noisy at night, one long drop toilet, gets cleaned regularly and one of the best we had so far.
Many spaces, not crowded, easy to find a sheltered spot. Ground very uneven, might need to rearrange the car a few times but worth it! Loads of birds that are curious.

Tight space, gets filled very(!!!!!) early!
Clean enough toilets, lit at night, unfortunately people still put their rubbish in or around the bins even though they are full...
Dump station and portable water, in my opinion it's great for a free spot!

Two clean enough flush toilets, spots in the gravel are full quickly (especially with people not parking in a way to safe space ..
.) But even at 10 pm there's still spaces in the grass left.
Yes, there are some youngster's driving their cars up and down, but for two nights in a row they stopped at a decent hour (10:30pm). There's someone from the council coming around and checking on everyone at around 8pm.

Quite pricey for powered sites considering that you are cramped into little more than a parking spot.
But then it's Queenstown...
Clean and plenty facilities
Easy walking distance to city
Boil water notice still in place!
