Incredibly friendly staff.
Very nice accommodations. Spacious bath rooms, kitchen, TV room. Kitchen was well equipped and all rooms were heated. Unfortunately the bathrooms/showers were a little dirty in the morning until long after checkout. In the evening, however, they were a welcome surprise: Big, clean and comfortably warm.

Amazing views and amazing sunset on the beach.
Fairly priced unpowered campsite for two people. Facilities are clean and sufficient. The hot shower's temperature is a little tricky to regulate, but they are free, so I shouldn't complain. When we visited, there was a food truck next to the kitchen serving ice cream and white bait patties, so delicious and delightful!

We booked and payed online, but upon arrival there were only instructions on how to pay cash.
We used the cash check-in form and wrote down the booking number where the $ amount was supposed to go. Long drop toilets were close to overflowing and the shelter only has two walls, so they don't protect against wind. The water supply is rainwater from big tanks at the shelter. You must do your dishes in your car as there are no drains. The upside is the close location to Milford Sound and an access to a neat hike up to Lake Gunn. Other than that the only thing you get are sandflies (same as everywhere around Milford Sound)

Compared to Queenstown good price and big lots.
The showers are free off season. 1 GB Wifi per person. There isn't really a TV room, just a kitchen with a telli. The kitchen itself is very spacious and well equipped. The laundry is a little expensive for 6$ wash and 6$ dryer, but is card operated, which is nice if you don't have coins. There is a supermarket in walking distance.

Cheap price, but crowded, even off season.
Bathroom and shower facilities were limited. Private niche for campsites including tables/benches which is nice. The outside kitchen/ dish sinks/ cold water sinks were esthetically pleasing, but hard to use in the dark or when the weather is bad. Overall not as cosy as I had hoped, but still better than the same price DOC campsites.

Lake view and entry are amazing and available.
Not too crowded, due to the 2km gravel drive to the campground. Stargazing in the evening is very cool. Two long drop toilets available, nothing else. No water, except the lake.

10$ per person.
Access to hot showers for 2$. The campsite is directly on the sidelines of the cricket field and unfortunately has a lot of mosquitoes. Cheap laundry, clean place, large dish washing sink and every faucet has hot water which we loved.

the powered sites are expensive and small.
1GB Wifi per person available. Showers and toilets are fairly clean and have hot water. Kitchen and TV room are clean, however, nearly no kitchen utensils are available.

Lovely place.
The remodeled farm houses are very cute and it's nice to have a high ceiling. Late check in was no problem and the staff was very forthcoming in the morning as well. Unfortunately some guests didn't clean up after themselves, but that is not the campsite's fault. Kitchen was extremely well equipped and the showers were nice.
