Abundant space and an incredible view.
Stayed for one night, and everyone gets their own table as there aren't many cars. The town is quite quiet; met a few people in the morning. Dump stations are acceptable, but there's no running water here. Only the emergency dump station had some, but it's recommended for necessary use only, as it collects and stores rainwater. The sunset is truly spectacular.

A fantastic spot right next to town.
It fills up quickly, so a bit of luck is needed. A security guard arrives at 6 p.m., and you can ask him anything. The toilets are a 3-minute walk away. Note that the smell of sulfur in this area can be very strong at times.

A very spacious place next to a small river.
Enjoyed a good night's sleep. The area is well-maintained, including the road. The journey here was quite enjoyable, and it's a good, quiet place to rest. Many tables are available, and fires are permitted. Note that there's no signal anywhere on this field. Use the toilet only if absolutely necessary; it's a metal pipe with a toilet seat on top. Remember to bring toilet paper with you.

A small spot next to a tiny park with decent toilets.
Parking in the middle of the city, next to a new world that opens at 7, perhaps wasn't the best idea, and the streetlights were on throughout the night. Overall, everything was alright.

We stayed there for just one night, called in an hour early, and everything went smoothly.
It's a wonderful place with plenty of space, clean toilets, and fantastic hot showers. The kitchen is amazing, and even though they're still renovating, the place is already breathtaking.

Arrived here a little late, and both spaces were still empty.
The toilets were not far away. It was very quiet until morning, with no issues or strange encounters. Quite a nice spot.

If the campsite is full, call the onsite number for assistance and alternative accommodation.
Given that this spot is consistently busy and fills up quickly, finding a place is a matter of luck. The toilets are well-maintained, and there's a nearby shower for $3.20. It's relatively quiet and suitable for a couple of nights. I recommend using the bus for convenient transportation into the city.

It's an excellent spot with ample space and portable toilets.
Trees on the side offer protection from rain and wind. A short walk down to the river reveals additional dump stations and even a designated area for dishwashing.

Enjoyed a fantastic stay in this park.
Showers are available at the nearby 'Aquatic Centre' for $4 per person. Freshwater and the dump station are easily accessible. The toilets are slightly hidden; you need to go around the big hall to find them on the backside. Look for the very obvious red door; it seems they're not used as frequently as others.

Decent spot with water and a dump station provided.
The toilets were acceptable, but we felt a bit uneasy due to the people around us. Several spots were vacated during the night. The location isn't the best, as it's too far from the center, but it's right next to the ocean.

A pleasant stay by a wonderful river and park, very close to the city center.
It's a super quiet place for the night, and the toilets are around 200m away, easily accessible.

This place is primarily suited for a brief stay.
It's situated by a charming little river, and some nearby trees offer a bit of shelter from the rain. There's a table close by where you can sit down. About 200 meters away, you'll find toilets with running water, although I would recommend using the more centrally located city toilets. Additionally, there's a public BBQ area available if you'd like to prepare some food there.

The owners are very friendly, and the design of the place is quite charming.
The cost is approximately $30 for two people per night, or a little over $15 for solo travelers. Showers are available for $1, and washing and drying cost $4 each. There's an outdoor kitchen with a roof, a well-lit seating area, and a convenient sink. You can charge your phone and other devices, even if you don't have a powered campsite.

This place is decent, but not much more than that.
The restrooms lack running water, but they're usable if necessary. Keep in mind they are a bit of a walk away, approximately 300 meters. There's no water source here, but you do have access to a public BBQ area and a lovely view of the lake.

This place is quite pleasant, with a low cost (a 5NZ$ donation) and offers decent restroom facilities.
Additionally, you can conveniently charge your phone or other devices outdoors. There's also a handy outdoor sink for dishwashing and water can refilling.
