This is a must do if near Paiha as this was value for money and a life time experience.
We chose the Heli/cruise which start at 9am with a boat cruise around the Bay of Islands.
Shaun was our boat tour guide and he was brilliant, easy to talk to and was very knowledgable about the area. We had two Island hopes with the last one being our own private beach for the next 3 hours.
We had our lunch which we brought with us and spent time exploring, swimming and lazing in the sun. We were then picked up and transferred to the floating Heli pad. The copper arrived a few minutes later and we choppered off over the Bay of Islands to "The hole in the Rock". What a fantastic view we had from the chopper. I highly recommend it regardless of cost as you won't regret it.

Mechanical the vechicle ran well, easy to drive and was fuel efficient.
The possitives:
It was comfortable, fitted out well, the fridge was great.
I would suggest a slightly thick mattress.
The negatives:
The company was unable to supply us with Sat Nav, we had to wash our bedding before using them as they smelt unpleasant, possibly stored too long or hadnt been washed?
One other thing was it cost us $60 to get to the Auckland depot from to airport only to find out we could have used their preferred shuttle for half the price, we were never told this information. These vechicle are better suited to younger people, under 30 yrs! Will I use Spaceships again. NO

Our surveys reveal that over 80% of our space travellers are aged 25- 35 years old and we have seen an increase of customers aged 55 yrs+ old which is refreshing to see.
Everything you need to know about airport transfers is listed on our website and attached to your confirmation. I am sorry you missed this small detail. Spaceships provide a complementary transfer service from the airport for hires 21 day+ Otherwise Spaceships will gladly arrange a transfer for $30 flat fee.
Due to popular demand the GPS units are at request only basis. But we are aware that this is a popular additional extra item and will make sure we have more for next season to come.
