Great spot on the tidal estuary.
Small campground but was clean and had great, clean facilities. Fresh water and a dump station. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Hot showers were great. A 40 minute walk from paihia town. Would recommend.

Great spot, stunning beach.
Worth the drive. Roads not bad at all. Toilets are basic, but look like they've recently been upgraded. Basic concrete block showers. They are $1 for 3 hot minutes...plenty of time for a quick wash. Got washing machines and dryers for $4 per load. Such a beautiful beach!
Loved our stay, would recommend!

Gorgeous little bay.
Nice and flat for bigger campers, although sign says for 6.5m max. 2 clean toilets. Great spot for 1 night.

A nice spot, but expensive for what is there.
Nice to have a hot shower. The toilet was quite far away from our camper spot...but showers were close...kinda weird. The loop track was a nice walk. We were sad not to hear or see Kiwi, but that's nobody's fault.
Was so quiet luckily...our large camper only just fit on the tar-sealed site. Was nice to have a toaster to use. A bit run down and expensive, but nice for 1 night

Great spot.
We stayed on the waterfront in out camper. Easy check in. Lovely staff member. Beautiful beach. Facilities were clean. Happy family experience.
