Really lovely spot just by the lake.
Plenty of space when we were there in early September time. Easily accessed from the highway. Perfect for self contained and very quiet.
We did have a camping ambassador who came round the following morning to say that the area was no longer going to be open to free camping. This wasn't a problem, as we only stayed the one night and he wasn't there fining anyone.
Maybe just something worth noting if you are planning on staying here in the future - might be worth checking the latest info.

Really lovely spot.
Super quiet little spot, only 3 other people were there at the same time, so plenty of room. Most of it is slightly sloped, so don't expect completely flat ground, but not a huge issue. As mentioned there are some larger pot holes on the way in, but again, really not a huge issue - just take it easy. Surprisingly the long drop there was very clean, equipped with toilet paper & sanitiser, so really no complaints there either. Overall, a great little spot, so would certainly recommend.
