Very large campground with lots of amenities.
It was very busy, even in the winter. A little too curated for my taste, but if you are looking for all the comforts, you may love it.

Amazing spot for stargazing.
It felt remote in the winter. Be sure to visit the salmon farm across the bridge for some fresh sashimi.

Welcoming facilities.
Ready access to the start of Abel Tasman track. Easy check in even though the office was closed. Walking on the beach during lowtide was a highlight!
