Lovely walk.
Parked up in the harbour and walked over Coat Hanger Bridge where it was easy to pick up a track by the rowing club. Just follow your nose and you’ll come across the road/Snout Track car park and it’s undulating along the ridge until Snout Point. I walked back via the western MTB track - around 12km in total round trip from the harbour.

Really well provisioned and laid out campsite with particularly nice showers and toilets.
Kitchen is big with good cookers/ovens but you will need your own pots/pans etc. Good value and good location.

A short walk into town and very close to the lakeside. Strong recommendation 🌟

Super spot - nice facilities that can be used if you’re not staying here.
Kitchen, toilet/hot shower and powered sites for €15. 9/10 because the laundry was locked and not sure why.

Good campsite and excellent value.
Some facilities a bit run down but all of it immaculately clean and in perfect working order. Great value, great location and make sure you check out the glow work tour!

Very cool and unique place to stop, great location and good value.
Nice showers and toilet block. Kitchen is small considering the amount of campers they could have, but friendly staff and the ski bus stop is right outside.

I did the Loop track in about 4 hours.
Be prepared for some elevation, around 900m elevation gain across the whole walk however really enjoyable. Views are few and far between as you walk through the bush but it is well sign posted. Nowhere really to stop en route but takes you through Whites Bay towards the end, which was nice for a pause and a snack before tackling the last hour back to the car.
