Walk to Kerosene Creek was alright.
Nice track but not very interesting views. The view point for Crater lake was closed off. Kerosene Creek on the other hand was realllly nice for a warm swim, so take swimming stuff and a towel!

No overnight camping available due to wet grass.
We were sent away and directed to the next one along the road, a 45 minute drive. We could use toilets but they weren't as clean as reviews led us to believe.

Was pretty busy, we arrived at around 1900 and we had the last available spot.
It was a Saturday so that is probably why. Public toilets, which were open till late, were a 2 minute walk and clean. The smell is just something you will have to put up with in Rotorua so we didn't mind!

Quite parking spot.
2 minute walk to public toilets which were open all night long. There is drinking water available by the skate park, which is right next to the parking. Officially you have to leave the spot at 9am, but because it was raining really hard that day, the council man who came by told us we could just stay parked there all day, which was really lovely.
