Ohau Point Seal Colony

Seal colony can be seen from the road side but a short walk up a stream to a pool below a waterfall revealed a nursery of pups - 20/30 of them some even in the surrounding woodland - great experience.

Easy walk through rainforest with great lake views. Take insect repellant - sandflies are vicious here!!

9 for location but 3 for facilities.
Great location but facilities very poor. Shower did not work in the morning and no one to sort it out as office only opens at 11.00am.

Great fun rolling down the hill in a plastic ball full of warm water.
They provide shorts, tshirts, towels so its easy to do. Any age can do it (we are 57 and 60).

The company seems to be well organised.
Good reception and check in. They gave a good briefing but the info was on a DVD but our netbook only takes flash USB drives. They should consider using this. Van is old and has a few faults but no problems in our 30 day hire. Layout is awkward.

Good tour with a guide plus four passengers in a mini-bus.
Had a lot of local knowledge. Enjoyed a picnic lunch, tried hard to please.
