What can I say?
Quintessential Kiwi hospitality!! The hosts at Wild Tracks were extremely welcoming, and made the visit heaps of fun. There are so many aspects to the experience, but it begins with the amazing scenery. Wild Tracks location is just stunning - the views on the drive there make it a feature in itself.
The buggies are really peppy, and will surprise you when you put your foot down! The actual buggy experience is guided throughout, and John will lead from the head buggy, so you can navigate the track. The track length is good and long, and there are plenty of twists and unexpected features along the way.The work that has gone into creating surprise, FUN, and adventure on this track, is phenomenal!!
Once I got in the drivers seat, I couldn't stop GRINNING....which was a tad detrimental, since I got a mouthful of mud!! :D So much fun though!! Plus, full protective clothing was provided.
Piece of advice - BRING a change of clothes anyway!
Wild Tracks has a lot more to offer than just the buggies, and provides are 200% unique adventure, with their Remote Control Tank battles.
John has personally created a multi-dimensional maze, which two tanks must battle through, to win the race. Along the way you have to pop a balloon on your opponent, and trigger all sorts of events by driving through the maze. SUPER amount of fun. Hugely inventive, and sparks a lot of competitiveness!!
Our whole group was really impressed with the venue, the activities, and the friendliness of the hosts...it's something you won't want to miss!
Summary: DO IT!
