Small and simple but extremely clean, tidy and well organised.
Perfectly easy to find! Runs on an honesty box system. Washing machine use free (unusual in our experience and v welcome) - the addition of a pay-for-use tumble drier would be a plus.

We rented a Premium 2 berth motor home for about 7 weeks from February to March 2012.
The vehicle was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed having it as our home for this lengthy period. There were, perhaps inevitably, one or two minor problems with it but these were promptly dealt with when we reported them and the service before and during our trip was always excellent. The fact that this is a small family-run business who take a personal interest in their vehicles and customers is a definite plus. We were shown a slightly larger Premium 2 berth automatic vehicle at the end of our trip and will definitely opt for one for our next hire since it avoids the need to make up the bed every day!

Great experience!
Friendly, well-run operation. Made you feel at ease (even a non-rider!) and clearly took care with matching horses and riders. Did an excellent job with a mixed ability group in difficult weather and the scenery was magnificent, especially the awesome Wharariki Beach.

Generally pretty good and the location speaks for itself.
Facilities a little tired, and the provision of washing machines isn't really enough to meet demand.

Had a 2 hour evening trip with Bronwyn in February 2012.
An excellent trip in wonderful scenery, with a fantastic sunset to finish it off. Sadly the little blue penguins proved elusive, but the hot Milo on the beach of Native Island made up for that! Hope to return for a longer trip!

Small site with limited but perfectly adequate facilities, although the addition of a tumble drier would help.
(May not be so eco-friendly, but when camping in wet weather it's a must!)

Revisited after an 11 year gap & reassuring to find it just as good as last time.
Beautiful setting & v tranquil (except when the choppers are busy!). Spacious secluded pitches and excellent facilities at no extra charge. Barbecue facilities are particularly good. Toilets, showers etc. basic but clean. No hesitation in recommending the site.
