Rankers overseas visitors, please take note of freedom camping rules, all over New Zealand and follow them.
Visitors disrespect for said rules has lost us sites all over the country.

Great place, but unless ignorant, rude, young tourists, in their so called SC vans, go by the rules, it will be one more place that NZrs can't come, because these tourists, in the main, really don't give
a damn. And because of that, places get shut down. When you visit another country, live by their rules. Don't also rock up to a freedom camp after dark and bang on peoples windows, asking them to move!! All because you can't make better plans to get to destinations earlier.

Even though there is now an $800 fine for non SC overnight car and van sleepers, they like to ignore it.
They like to think they are a separate entity.
This attitude and rude, loud behavior and music some days, some nights, is stopping those of us legal NZ RVs and campervans, from enjoying our stay.

I don't know if you are a Kiwi or visitor, but that comment was totally unnecessary, unless you have the proof. Take more care what you say. I had no issues here at all. Noise from caravan was only reason I didn't give a 10
