Track not too steep by NZ standards and views outstanding.

Beautifully maintained site.
Plenty of space and well kept clean toilets. Lovely view of the mountains yet close to Christchurch.
Close to the road but reasonably quiet at night.
Would recommend and thank the Lions for keeping it so good. $5 per person is a great price too. (Honesty box)

Klondyke Corner Campsite

Very quiet camp site set back from the road, lots of space and not very busy when we visited.
We felt like we were waking up in a picture post card. There were sandflies at dusk but ok as we had sandfly repellent.
Really enjoyed our overnight and would recommend.
