Really great site, especially if you have just arrived and may be tired or dropping off your car/motorhome the next day.
Within a few minutes of camper hire sites and the airport. Full facilities plus more. Loads of bins to get rid of your recycling and even a space to wash your motorhome. Can’t fault it bearing in mind you are virtually in Christchurch

Adequate facilities but watch happy hour as only a few things in it.
Bought a small coke & a pint of beer was $20.!! Dump station $10 so empty before you arrive. Boasts a restaurant but it’s pizza or pizza. Overall an expensive place to stay.

Such a beautiful and peaceful setting within park grounds.
We had a grass powered site for our motorhome with two adults and it was only $30. It’s worth going even just to look at the size of trees on the approach road.

Only really a fuel station but very cheery and helpful staff who filled both our gas bottles which turned out to be miles cheaper than exchange ones

What a gem.
Set in natural surroundings yet with all amenities to hand. Great value compared with your average tarmac city campsite. Rosie was helpful and cheery when asked for advice. We would have stayed more than two nights if we weren’t site seeing. 10/10
