An absolutely incredible spot right off the beach.
Facilities aren’t much but for the location they’re more than you’d expect. Waking up to the sunrise is unbelievable, just beware of the wind!

Great spot with a beautiful swimming beach.
Bathrooms are clean and so are the cold showers. My only gripe is they really pack you in, but that’s not unusual. Definitely worth a visit!

Very friendly manager and near the beach.
Nice clean bathroom but showers aren’t free anymore. $5 for 5 minutes. Kitchen was clean, the only thing about it was it’s right in the center of a neighborhood so it is quite light and noisy at night sometimes.

Great spot, just a bit pricey.
The staff was very friendly, when gave us a spare blanket to bring to our tent on a cold rainy night. Kitchen is big and full of what you need, as well as a big lounge area. The tent sites are nice, close to bathrooms etc

Great spot, plenty of room for tenting, affordable.
We definitely enjoyed it here, they didn’t cram you in like some other holiday parks. Bathroom and kitchen were clean and the host was very friendly.

Nice spacious tenting spot with a great forest tower nearby to climb up, but dirty toilet and woke up in the middle of the night to loud gunshots very very close by.
Everything else was really nice, the mosquitoes were a pain after dark but manageable, but the shooting was quite alarming! I contacted DOC about it and they said there’s not much they can do. So beware of illegal night hunters or whatever they were doing!

Amazing spot.
Plenty of room to camp and flushable toilets and an indoor cooking area. The river is right next to you and at low/mid tide the ocean beach is accessible. Listen for sea lions!

Absolutely beautiful spot and plenty of room.
Huge grass fields open to tents and vans alike, unfortunately some people were blasting music from several different sites so it took away from the feel. The beach is incredible, just beware of sandflies!

I’m not sure how so many have had such good experiences here, we did not.
We booked a cabin for the night because of the bad weather and when we arrived it smelled bad and was damp. The kitchen along with almost everything there hasn’t been updated in ages, lots of long term residents, and they lock the bathrooms for some odd reason. The owner was cheerful and right on the beach, but the rest of the experience wasn’t too enjoyable. I wouldn’t have minded so much if it was cheaper, but for the price they charge for a cabin without linens, it’s definitely not worth it.

Great spot, nice amenities and right next to the river.
The cheaper campground of the two had a wedding going on so we stayed near the cafe which was quiet and enjoyable. Wifi was bad though where the non powered sites are.

Amazing spot right by the beach, the only drawback is if you’re tenting they really cram you in.
We had 4 other tents right next to us with no real privacy. If you’re in a caravan or something probably a much better experience. Facilities are great, the powerful shower might knock you off your feet!

A nice spot out of the way, but beware of bumble bees!
Usually bumble bees are my friends but these ones will not leave you alone, hundreds! The site itself is very nice, secluded with plenty of water spigots and two toilets. The road is a little daunting, but nothing too troublesome, just don’t bring a big camper!
