Lovely quiet place.
One big grass campsite, well maintained. Friendly woman at the reception and there was also a campsite cat that walks around. Facilities were clean, a little bit outdated but still fine. We also did some laundry and there was enough space to hang it outside. 2 min. Walk to the beach, lovely!!

Great facilities, spot we got was near the entrance but big and quiet enough.
Lovely view from the park when the sun goes down. We didn't had time for it but you get a discount when you want to use the spa pools.

We stayed here hoping to see the sunset.
Unfortunately it was raining. Although the weather wasn't good, we had a nice overnight stay, there was enough space but I can imagine on a sunny day you have to be early as there are only 6 to 10 spots I guess? Toilets are clean and there are even bbq facilities. No sounds from the road that was bothering.

Beautiful spot, with a nice view.
It was very windy though, not sure if it's always like that. Toilets are very clean.

Surrounding is beautiful.
Lady that welcomes you is very formal, you have to book and check in online yourself. Facilities are a bit outdated. In the shower hallway was fake grass, very weird. And no doors for privacy, only shower curtains. We had a nice stay though, so therefore a 6.

We stayed for 1 night but could easily stayed longer.
Such a beautiful environment, quiet and beautiful when the sun goes down. Plenty of space for campers and a clean toilet. Loved it.

Big campsite spaces, good and clean facilities.
Even a tv screen in the shared living room. You can rent a spade to go for a trip to hot beach (10 min walk), dig a hole and relax in the hot water that comes up to the surface. Really recommended!! Make sure you go on the right time when it's low tide.

Nothing really special, just a parking lot to stay overnight.
Toilets were clean, no lights when it's dark though. Many chickens and ducks walking around. We even saw chickens high up in the tree, very funny.

Near a sports field, planty of space.
Toilets, maybe a longer walk when you don't park nearby. Clean though. For 1 night it's a good spot to stay.

We had a nice stay, although they describe the spots to be very spacious, it really wasn't.
We had to squeeze in our campervan. The hot tub was really nice though and we could wash our clothes there. Facilities were clean, unfortunately the shower had no good water pressure.

We expected more from this top 10 park.
It was clean and the employers were nice but the camper(van) spots are really small and not on grass but on gravel. Facilities were clean though so we still give a 7.

After arriving at Wellington with the ferry we drove to this cheap site.
Because of delays we got there early in the morning, there was still enough space for us. Toilet was nice and clean and it was very quiet, far away enough from the highway.

Very good value for money.
We asked for a nice grassy spot and got exactly that. Plenty of room for our campervan. Beautiful campgroud with a nice walk to the beach. Facilities were good as well. Stayed for 2 nights.

Because of the Marlborough wine festival we rented a cabin, with just a bed and shared bathroom / facilities.
The bed felt like it was really old, because it was a spring mattress without any support. Also much noise from the road, so wouldn't recommend this campsite. Had a good night sleep though, but probably because of all the wine ;-)

Lovely quiet place to stay!
Campervan spots are big, you can choose which one you want on arrival. Nice employees as well. We had a nice stay, facilities were good as well. What I really loved were the animals, pigs and other ones to cuttle with. And for the ones who love it, there was also a swimming pool.

Lovely place if you're looking for a smaller quiet place with hot pools.
As a campsite guest you're allowed to enter the pools in the morning before it opens for regular guests. Pools were lovely and also a nice walk to the hot spring where you can see the boiling water coming out of the ground. Facilities were small but clean!

Lovely spot for stargazing!
It is close to the road, so you can hear the traffic driving by. We didn't bother though and slept well. The toilet is a drop-toilet, but is very clean. When we were there, it was very windy. We don't know if it's always like that. Would recommend it, especially if you want to see the lovely stars.

Ok campsite for 1 or 2 nights.
We didn't book upfront, got a spot anyway. No lakeview unfortunately. The spots were very small, so no privacy. It felt like a parkinglot. With some grass in between though. We did our laundry here, which was fine. Showers were good and facilities were clean. Because of the non lake view and narrow spots we give a 6.

Wonderful place, really big with lots of spots to choose from.
A nice view at the mountains with a small creek on the side. Really quiet, far enough from the road. Toilets are ok (drop toilet), unfortunately at every toilet building only 1 of 2 was in use.

This was our first night after getting the campervan.
It is a very nice big and quiet grass campsite. There are enough toilets, which get cleaned daily. It was a good spot to get to know the camper :-)

Ok spot for a free night near the ocean.
1 min walk to the beach. It is near the road, but didn't really bother. There are 10 spots so be on time to get one. There are 2 toilets that get cleaned regularly.

A nice spot to stay for one or 2 nights.
We found a nice spot for our campervan. There are 2 toilet buildings, which are clean. Also treated drinking water available. It can be quite cold during the night, so be prepared.

We arrived around 19.00 and got a nice spot, even though we didn't book upfront.
The ladies that welcomed us were very friendly and gave us some tips about what to do and see. Facilities are very clean.
The farmers market is very nice to go to at sunday morning. And after that you can have a drink at the brewery nearby. Lovely city!

Beautiful area, very quiet with sheep and birds around the campsite.
5 min walk to a mini supermarket and a lovely view at the water.
Facilities were clean, a bit old and the showers were very (too!) Hot. We stayed here for 2 nights.

Without upfront booking we got a nice quiet spot, with lake view.
And even a tree for some shade, so that was really perfect. Facilities nearby and very clean & up to date. We used the grill to make some nice diner. Really enjoyed this park.
