YHA at Napier is very nice place to stay at!
Very good facilities (eg. clean bathrooms, fully equipped clean kitchen, nice common area...). Also the staff was just fantastic, funny how that goes such a long way. I love visiting a place where people running it are enthusiastic about what they do. Great! Thanks!

Taumarunui Holiday Park has everything a great campsite needs plus the owners are amazing.
I really enjoyed staying there and I really don't have ANY complaints whatsoever! Thank you and hopefully I will visit you again soon!

I was going to stay in the YHA in Gisborne but the manager's (or the guy who seemed to be in charge) hostile attitude really made me think otherwise.
He seemed to be very bitter and kept mocking travelers who keep stealing his cutlery and dvds. My friend ended up staying there, and when he checked out he asked if they could hold his luggage for him for a few hours before he leaves town. He was allowed to leave his luggage in the unsecured garden. Cause, you know, it's such a hassle looking after people's stuff apparently? I visited the guest house on three different days because I was picking up my friend and the guy's attitude didn't change. He didn't even reply to my "good morning" when I saw him on day #2. Just appalling...
